Curation & Installation
Creative spaces where art meets well-being and belonging. Socially engaged, authentic artistic experiences with culture as the foundation.
My installations encourage personal agency and invites people to explore their inner landscapes and the connective tissues within the ancestral and interdependent ecosystems. My work is built upon collaboration with local communities, and equity seeking groups to weave our future together.
I contemplated with the spiral as a guiding symbol from my Mexica ancestry. I explored the concept of no time and all time as a simultaneous possibility within the concept of ‘humanness’. I created in collaboration with 10 Southern Ontario artists and creatives. We co-created with the attempt to gather hope and possibilities from a healing or healed place within the realm of Indigenous Futurism.

Blooming Oracle
Interactive deep dive with the birthing of an oracle deck. It has been 7 year long unraveling process of listening and walking with the Sacred. The Blooming Oracle exhibited original watercolour paintings. This became a supportive space for individuals to receive poetic explorations anchored from the watercolour art cards.

Rebirth Altar
Solo Exhibit
The Rebirth Altar was for the dead parts of ourselves that we want to grieve: old patterns, heart break, old addictions, past versions of the self that no longer served us. This was an opportunity to do a collective releasing ritual and to call forth - dreams and desires within a contemporary take of the millenary Day of the Dead traditions practiced through my lineages
